About
Here's me
I spend my days designing pretty much everything there is - websites, apps, logos, brands, whatever you can think of.
I've worked both in a team of just myself and in teams of 20+ people (aka, chaos). I've been a part of, and I've been responsible for every step of the 0 -> 1 design process - from initial user research, interviews, etc., through the actual design process, and the final validation process after the work is done.
The most important thing for me is asking good questions, which helps me stay engaged with the product I'm building. I like working with people who know more than I do, getting valuable feedback and constructive criticism, and designing things that actually help people.
Previously, I worked at a design agency called The Silly Co., based in Sofia, Bulgaria. We worked on all sorts of projects - from simple corporate websites, all the way to creating amazing products and brands (like Nula).

Here's how I work
Pen and paper
Before jumping into wireframes, or even looking at a screen, I like to spend time sketching the rough idea out. This way I have a moodboard of ideas I can go back to later throughout the project.
Draw first, do after
Work is messy
Real world isn't pretty
The perfect conditions exist only in a perfect world. And a perfect world doesn't exist. That's why as a designer I'm able to make educated, informed and most importantly, smart decisions that will ultimately shape up the entire product.
Collaboration is key
My favorite unexpected advantage from design work is getting to work with designers who think and do things differently than me. That way I can not only can I see how other people do their thing, but also get invaluable experience, feedback, and constructive criticism.
We're a team here!
See, not feel
Making the invisible visible
Some of my favorite design decisions I've made are the ones that you can't see, but are actually the most impactful. In my opinion this is what differentiates a product that looks great, from one that works great too.
